LADI seeks to strengthen the Migration-Development nexus in Africa through:

Harnessing the contributions of international migrants and diasporans for African development

Promoting the implementation of national and regional migration governance policies.

Engaging with business membership organisations (BMOs) to incentivize their members to benefit from intra-African trade and the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA).

Fighting to eradicate the scourge of human trafficking and migrant smuggling.

Collaborating with stakeholders to promote safe and well-structured labour migration.

WORLD REFUGEE DAY 2022

World Refugee Day falls each year on June 20. It is an international day designated by the United Nations to honor refugees around the world. It is a day to celebrates the courage and strength of people who are forced to flee their home country to escape conflict or persecution. It is also a day to collaborate and reflect on ways to ways to improve the lives of refugees.
